My Process

The majority of my project was dedicated to writing and editing the posts so that they would be appropriate for a public audience. The target length for each post was between 500 and 1000 words, which I felt gave me enough room to provide entertaining content without it being too lengthy. I spent an hour or so writing the rough draft of the post online, then printed out a hard copy and edited it by hand two or three times. Afterwards, I made the necessary edits to the online document before I converted the final edit to my blog, where I added the images. A significant amount of time was also spent on the formatting of the blog itself, such as making sure that it looked professional and was easy to navigate.

Brainstorming

Ideas for my blog posts came from the observation of the world around me and my own feelings. Sometimes the topics of my posts came from actual events that happened--like my harrowing experience driving a golf cart--and other times they stemmed from a random annoyance I had, such as my hair getting everywhere.

I had a document where I stored these ideas that I could visit every time I needed some inspiration.
